The National Institute of Design (NID) has announced that admit cards for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) 2025 Prelims will be downloaded on December 24, 2024, by 4 PM. Successful candidates who have registered can log in to their NID admit cards at the official admissions website at admissions.nid.edu.
The National Institute of Design (NID) has released the interview admit card for PhD Admission 2025 Round 2. Candidates can download the same from the official portal using their login credentials. NID offers full-time (3-5 years) and part-time (5-7 years) PhD programs with specific residency and eligibility criteria. Part-time candidates require an NOC.
The National Institute of Design (NID) will close the NID DAT application form 2025 on December 3, 2024 (4 p.m.). Candidates who meet the program-specific eligibility criteria may apply before the application closing time. Note that it is unlikely the last date will be extended.

Initially, the National Institute of Design Bangalore offered master courses only in 2 specialisations namely Design for Digital Experience and Design for Retail Experience. At present, NID Bangalore offers M.Des. programmes in the disciplines of Design for Retail Experience, Digital Game Design, Information Design, Interaction Design, and Universal Design. The interested candidates who want to apply for these courses must appear in the NID DAT entrance exam to become eligible. After qualifying the exam, the candidates can fill out the application form online and pay the application fee. The NID Bangalore admission process involves an entrance exam followed by a studio test and an interview. Candidates can apply online through the official website of the National Institute of Design Bangalore admission in the M.Des. course. The applications are available on the website from the month of October. A merit list is prepared after the results of DAT prelims for each category. Based on the merit list, candidates are called for DAT Mains. Thereafter, based on the results of DAT Mains, candidates are shortlisted for each discipline offered by NID Bangalore.
